Mark and Stephanie Yancey: Mark Yancey (Executive Director) and Stephanie Yancey (Asst. Executive Director) founded Yancey Recovery Services and Yancey Christian Recovery Services. under the shared dream of providing recovery from alcohol and drug addiction not based on financial gain, but on making a difference in every client's life that comes to us for help. We understand finances keep the doors open and the lights on, which allows us to see clients, but finances do not overshadow our clients, and our clients does not overshadow our structure. Our success rate is extremely high because we only serve those that want help. Those that do not really want help, we do not allow them to come in and run their own program. As seen in many other recovery services that are more focused on the finances.  

Mark and Stephanie Yancey’s purpose is to bring high-quality recovery services that would be affordable for anyone that genuinely seeks help. As a native of the Bay Area Mark Yancey born in and ran the streets of Richmond California, being involved in criminal activity, then drugs, admitting into a residential recovery home more then 30 years ago. Mr. Yancey brings a personal understanding of the trials and tribulations of early sobriety together with his personable disposition to provide a comforting and understanding managerial presence. Along with the street knowledge Mr. Yancey obtained his bachelor’s degree in Drug and Alcohol Counseling and another bachelor’s degree in Psychology.   Stephanie Yancey, born and raised in Oakland, California.  She obtained a bachelor’s degree in business marketing, master’s in business administration (MBA), Master of Divinity (M. Div), and both Yancey's are Board Certified Biblical Counselor (BCBC). 

Mark and Stephanie Yancey both have voluntarily worked with the homeless and drug addicted population for over 30 Years. This dynamic dual brings street knowledge, book knowledge and practical application to their recovery services, which is a part of their success.  Along with the street knowledge, book knowledge and practical application Mark and Stephanie Yancey are both Licensed and Ordained in the ministry for over 20 years.  We understand that many people do not have any religious beliefs that is why we offer two services Yancey Recovery Services where we do not mention anything religious. However, we also have Yancey Christian Recovery Services where we bring a biblical aspect to the recovery services. Both treatment services use the exact same evidence-based curriculums, the only difference is those that want to mention Jesus in their discussion can admit into Yancey Christian Recover services, those that do not want to discuss Jesus will admit into Yancey Recovery Services.   Both services are very successful.
